Back with a new camera

The past two years have been a blur. I’m not the only one who has felt that, and finally, it feels like spring in my soul even if it’s fall in Phoenix. I have been working as a product photography retoucher for a huge company, and I have finally put my notice in and am going to go back into freelance work.

This summer I dropped my trusty Canon 60D into a river. This led me to finally buy a Sony A7Riii. I’m still getting accustomed to having so much change. The Canon had a swivel screen that I used to shoot my self portraits - now my Sony has wifi and bluetooth and I can use my phone as a remote. I now have an 85mm and a 24 - 105. These were taken with the 24-105.

Fall Self Portraits

Little life update for you all….

I officially am a full time retoucher for other photographers. This has been very exciting because I now work fully remotely. I’ve been so busy in the transition that I haven’t been able to keep up with blogging or taking shooting as much as I would like to.

However, I decided that I need to finally update all of this good stuff so that I can start 2019 out fresh. Here we go!

Well, that’s what happens when I don’t post for four months. We get a lot of selfies. Hope you enjoyed.
